1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, installing, or using the Life mobile banking application ("App") and related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sadara Life ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our Services, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete

2. Description of Services

Banking Services

Life provides mobile banking services including but not limited to:

  • Account management and balance inquiries
  • Money transfers and payments
  • Bill payment services
  • Transaction history and statements
  • Financial planning and analytics tools
  • Customer support services

Technology Platform

Our Services are provided through a mobile application and web platform that enables you to access banking services electronically. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time.

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

To use our Services, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Verify your identity through our KYC (Know Your Customer) process
  • Comply with all banking regulations and requirements
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

Security Responsibilities

Important: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including passwords, PINs, and biometric data. Never share your credentials with anyone.

You agree to:

  • Use strong, unique passwords and change them regularly
  • Enable two-factor authentication when available
  • Report any unauthorized access immediately
  • Log out of your account when finished using the App
  • Keep your device secure and updated

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

You may use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Services responsibly and ethically.

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Fee Changes

We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Services after fee changes constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

All content, features, and functionality of the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the exclusive property of Sadara Life and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sadara Life shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Business interruption
  • Service outages or technical issues
  • Third-party actions or failures

9. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to first contact our customer support team. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct negotiation, it will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with Egyptian law.

10. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support or through the account settings in the App.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent or suspicious activity
  • Fail to comply with banking regulations
  • Request account closure

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Services will cease immediately. We will provide you with access to your transaction history and assist with account closure procedures as required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:

  • Notify you through the App or by email
  • Post the updated Terms on our website
  • Provide a summary of significant changes
  • Give you reasonable time to review the changes

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
